Welcome to Bowes IT
Thank you for choosing Bowes IT Solutions.
We know that changing IT providers or engaging one for the first time is a significant decision. Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible while ensuring your staff can continue working with minimal disruption.
Onboarding isn't simply about installing software or changing passwords. It's about understanding how your organization operates and building a solid foundation for the relationship ahead.
We Install Our Own Software and Systems
To best support your people and your environment, we’ll need to install our own software and systems. Things like our remote monitoring, remote control, and security systems are essential to doing our work better.
They also make it really easy for your staff to work with us.
Getting to Know Your Environment
The discovery meeting gave us an understanding of your business.
Now it's time to deep dive into your technology. During your onboarding, a lot will be happening in the background—without affecting your operations. We'll also want to begin documenting your environment, including things like:
- Computers and servers
- Microsoft 365
- Network equipment
- Internet connections
- Printers and shared devices
- Security systems
- Backup systems
- Business applications
- User accounts and permissions
If we discover issues or risks along the way, we'll explain them clearly and discuss appropriate next steps.
Getting to Know Your People
Technology supports people. That's why we also take time to understand how your staff work. As we meet your team, we encourage them to tell us:
- What works well today
- What frustrates them
- Recurring issues they've experienced
- Suggestions for improvement
The people using the technology every day provide the most important insights.
We Work With Your Existing Systems
Not everything needs to change. If parts of your environment are working well, we'll continue supporting them. We'll only recommend changes when we believe they'll improve security, reliability, efficiency, or better support your business goals and people.
We don't replace technology simply because.
Your Staff Are Encouraged to Contact Us
One of the biggest changes your staff will notice is that they now have a team they can comfortably contact for help. We encourage people to ask questions early rather than struggle in silence, and we give them the tools to do it.
No one will be judged for asking for assistance.
Problems are much easier to solve when they're reported early.
Setting Priorities
Very few organizations have everything addressed on day one.
We'll help you prioritize.
Some improvements may need immediate attention because they present a security or operational risk. Others can wait until the timing or budget is right.
We'll help you understand the difference so you can make informed decisions.
Communication Matters
You'll always know what we're doing and why.
If we're planning maintenance, making significant changes, or identifying important risks, we'll explain them in clear language, not technical jargon.
Good communication is one of the most important parts of excellent IT support.
Building a Long-Term Relationship
Our goal isn't simply to fix computers. It's to become a part of your team and a resource your organization can rely on whenever technology decisions need to be made.
We'll provide practical advice, honest recommendations, and responsive support whenever you need us.
We look forward to working with you.
